Transport logistics process fully digitised
Starting point: numerous manual interfaces
A project of this scale stands or falls on the depth of system integration. Together with the ELOGATE team and IGS, we have seamlessly integrated ERP, transport management and communication tools. The result makes our staff’s day‑to‑day work much easier: no more paperwork, automated processes and automatic text message notifications for forklift operators, and a noticeably smoother flow of traffic across the entire site.
An overview of the optimised workflow
As a leader in quality within the building materials industry, we uphold premium standards not only in our products but also in our internal processes. With the introduction of ELOGATE, we have taken our logistics to a new, digital level. The deep integration of the systems ensures maximum efficiency and future-proofing. A big thank you to the entire project team for this successful transformation.

FAQ
The entire transport logistics process – transport orders, driver registration, access to the plant, car park management, forklift communication, loading and digital checkout – is integrated as a seamless end‑to‑end process. Previously, these steps were carried out via individual manual procedures, Excel spreadsheets and separate systems.

At the same time as the driver registers, the forklift operator is automatically notified by text message. Calls to load are coordinated via outdoor monitors in the parking area.
ERP, yard management and various communication tools were combined with IGS Systemmanagement GmbH & Co KG to form a fully integrated system landscape.
