Accessibility statement

Note: This page was translated automatically. Only the German original version is legally binding.

SATIAMO GmbH is committed to making the ELOGATE website accessible. This statement describes the current level of accessibility, the measures already implemented and the limitations that remain.

Commitment

SATIAMO GmbH is committed to making its public website elogate.com and the content provided there accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2, Level AA) and the Austrian Federal Disability Equality Act (Bundes-Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz, BGStG).

This statement applies to the public website elogate.com and all of its German- and English-language pages, in particular the homepage, use cases, solutions, implementation, industries, insights, references, FAQs, search, contact, demo request and legal pages.

The access-restricted ELOGATE application and the externally operated support portal are outside the scope of this statement. These services require separate accessibility assessments.

Compliance status

Based on a self‑assessment, this website is partially conformant with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2). “Partially conformant” means that the content and functions listed below under “Non‑accessible content” do not yet fully meet the requirements.

Accessibility measures implemented

The following measures have been implemented on elogate.com:

  • semantic regions for the header, navigation, main content and footer, as well as a link for skipping repeated navigation
  • consistent document-language attributes using lang="de" and lang="en" on German- and English-language pages
  • accessible names for primary navigation controls, search, menu, language selection, carousel actions and important links
  • keyboard operation of the mobile main menu, including dialog semantics, an inactive background, Escape‑key handling and focus return to the menu button
  • programmatic relationships between FAQ buttons and their corresponding answer panels
  • static, understandable screen-reader values for animated figures, while the visual animation is hidden from assistive technologies to prevent duplicate announcements
  • localised carousel controls in German and English
  • alternative text for informative images and empty alternative text for purely decorative graphics
  • responsive presentation with no horizontal page overflow found at the tested viewport widths from 320 to 1,440 pixels
  • full support for the “reduce motion” system setting: all motion animations, including marquees, reveals and animated key figures, are switched off, sliders change without movement, and content remains fully visible
  • exactly one level‑one heading per page in both the German and the English version
  • machine-readable input purpose for the contact, demo and newsletter fields through autocomplete values for given name, family name, organisation, email and telephone, with telephone fields marked up as telephone input
  • a minimum target size of 24 × 24 pixels for the controls in the breadcrumb, the footer and the language selector; where targets remain smaller, they keep the minimum spacing permitted by WCAG 2.2
  • operability of the language selector inside the open mobile menu with mouse, touch, Enter and Space; Escape first closes the language list and returns focus to the button that opened it.

Non‑accessible content

Despite our efforts, the following point does not yet fully meet the requirements:

Contrast of the brand colour

ELOGATE Blue (#0099CD) is specified in the binding corporate design and is used unchanged on this website. In the following combinations, it does not meet the contrast ratio required by WCAG 2.2, Success Criterion 1.4.3 “Contrast (Minimum)”, Level AA:

  • blue text on a white background – including menu categories, the active menu item, language selection and labels such as “Coming soon”: 3.26:1 instead of the required 4.5:1
  • white text on a blue button – for example, “Request a demo”: 3.26:1 instead of the required 4.5:1
  • blue text on a light-blue tile – for example, “Find out more” in use‑case cards: 2.91:1 instead of the required 4.5:1
  • a blue‑highlighted part of a large heading on a light-blue background: 2.91:1 instead of the required 3:1 for large text.

The brand colour will not be changed as part of the current website. The affected elements can also be recognised by their position, size, typeface and context; no information is conveyed by colour alone. However, adherence to the corporate design is not an exception to the WCAG requirements. The website is therefore expressly classified as only partially conformant. The colour specification will be reviewed again as part of a future corporate-design revision.

Preparation and review of this statement

This statement was prepared on 9 September 2026 and was last reviewed technically and editorially on 10 September 2026.

It is based on a self‑assessment. Colour contrast was checked automatically on 26 August 2026 using axe‑core, IBM Equal Access, HTML_CodeSniffer and WAVE. On 9 September 2026, document structure, accessible names, keyboard operation, focus management, FAQ relationships, forms, responsive presentation, German/English language parity, metadata and 404 pages were additionally reviewed manually and through DOM‑based checks. On 10 September 2026, the points resolved in the meantime were re‑tested: heading structure, the input purpose of the form fields, the duplicate homepage content, the language and address of the English reference page, the operability of the mobile language selector, and the rendered target sizes and spacing of controls at widths from 320 to 1440 pixels.

A complete test with real screen readers such as VoiceOver and NVDA, at 200%/400% zoom, in forced-colours mode and with every reduced-motion setting was not part of this review. These tests are planned for the next technical acceptance review.

The next review will take place no later than twelve months from the date above and after any significant technical, editorial or design changes.
