3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by a service provider acting as a processor on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with that provider.
When you open the website, your browser transmits technically necessary data which the server records in a log file: the address requested, date and time, volume of data transferred, status code, referring page, browser and operating system identifiers and the IP address. These logs are required in order to deliver the website, to detect faults and to protect operations against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and fault-free operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not merge the log data with other data sources and do not evaluate it on a personal basis.
4. Cookies and consent management
We use cookies sparingly. As long as you make no selection in the consent dialogue and use no function that requires a session, no cookie is set on this website.
Consent dialogue
We use the open source solution Klaro to manage your consent. It is delivered from our own server; no connection to a third party is established. We store your decision in a cookie named klaro with a lifetime of 30 days. It records only which categories you have agreed to or rejected — no personal content. The legal basis for this cookie is Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021), as it is strictly necessary for the service you have requested; documenting your decision is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (obligation to demonstrate consent).
You can change or withdraw your selection at any time via the Cookie settings item in the footer of this website.
Session cookie
When you submit a form or sign in to the editorial area, the underlying content management system sets a technical session cookie. It contains no personal content and expires when the session ends at the latest. The basis is Section 165(3) TKG 2021 (strictly necessary).
Categories requiring consent
The consent dialogue also lists the categories Analytics as well as Advertising and Marketing. These categories are disabled by default, and there is currently no service behind them that would be loaded upon consent (see section 7). Should that change, we will update this policy beforehand.
5. Forms
All details you enter into our forms are transmitted in encrypted form, stored in our system and additionally forwarded by email to the responsible department. They are not passed on to third parties.
Contact form
We collect first name, last name, company, telephone number, email address and your message. We use these details solely to process your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry serves to initiate or perform a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The enquiry stored in the system is deleted automatically after 180 days. Data arising from the subsequent email correspondence is deleted once your matter has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Demo request
We collect first name, last name, company, telephone number, email address and your message. We use these details to arrange an appointment with you and to prepare the demonstration. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre‑contractual measure at your request). The request stored in the system is deleted automatically after 180 days.
Newsletter
For the newsletter we require your email address only. After you sign up we send you an email containing a confirmation link (double opt‑in). The subscription only takes effect once you click that link, and only then are we notified of it. This ensures that nobody can enter someone else's address. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Your address remains stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or withdraw your consent; we then delete it. The newsletter is sent from our own infrastructure; no external newsletter provider is involved.
Protection against automated submissions
Our forms are protected against automated submissions. The check runs in the browser and requires neither an image puzzle nor an external service; no data is transmitted to third parties in the process. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in forms that work (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Fonts and embedded content
The fonts used on this website are hosted on our own server. When the page is opened, no connection is made to Google Fonts or any other font provider. Third-party maps, videos and social media elements are not embedded either.
7. No analytics or advertising services
This website currently has no web analytics, tracking or advertising service embedded — neither Google Tag Manager nor Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight. Accordingly, no usage profiles are created and no data is transmitted to third parties for advertising purposes. Should we use such a service in future, this will happen only after your explicit consent via the consent dialogue (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 165(3) TKG 2021), and we will update this policy beforehand.
8. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Access to your data is limited to those members of staff who need it to deal with your matter, and to our service providers for hosting and maintaining the website. These act for us as processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR and are contractually bound by our instructions.
Your data is not transferred to any country outside the European Union. Automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place either.
9. Secure transmission
This website uses TLS encryption throughout. You can recognise this by the address beginning with https:// and by the padlock symbol in your browser. Data you send us therefore cannot be read by third parties.
10. Changes to this privacy policy
We update this policy whenever the processing on this website changes — in particular before a new service is embedded. The version published here applies in each case.
